Kölner Signcoll is an adhesive for gold leaf that is specially designed for pinstriping techniques, lettering, stencil work, painting, decoration, faux finishes, hand-painted wallpaper, etc. 

Quick and effective work is possible, the adhesion is perfect and thin lines can be applied. The Kölner Signcoll can be diluted with water and adjusted to the type of brush (hair type) and the substrate. Gilding with Kölner Signcoll is virtually scratch-proof and gives gold leaf a high gloss. After applying this adhesive, gilding can begin after approx. 1 - 2 hours (depending on the surface). The adhesive strength of the Kölner Signcoll remains for approx. 4 - 12 hours depending on the ambient conditions. 

It is not suitable for larger projects, such as architectural gilding, where the Instacoll gilding system is recommended.
